The series contains the annual reports sent to the Florida Railroad and Public Utilities Commission and its predecessor, the Railroad Commission from 1887 to 1962. The annual reports were from the various companies under the Commission's jurisdiction which included railroads, telephone and telegraph companies, public utilities, ferries, steamship lines, trucking companies, bus lines, bridge companies, and other common carriers. The reports provided information used in regulating rates and services.
